Biography Text: Dr. Sejal Thacker is a board certified Periodontist and a Master of Dental Science. She directs the post-graduate Periodontology program at UConn Health and maintains a private clinical practice in Connecticut. She received an award for Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics in 2015 and 2019 by the AAP and is also the 2020 Bud and Linda Tarrson Fellow. Thacker is a ITI fellow and also has participated in clinical trials at the University of Connecticut.
