Biography Text: Dr. Guo-Hao (Alex) Lin, DDS, MS, is the Director and Associate Professor of the Postgraduate Periodontics Program at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Lin has been honored with several awards from the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) Foundation, including the Dr. D. Walter Cohen Teaching Award in 2016, the AAP Teaching Fellowship in 2018, and the Dr. Colin Richman and Family Perio-Ortho Interface Award in 2021. Additionally, he received the Clinical Research Award from the AAP in 2021. Dr. Lin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (ABP) and serves as a Board examiner for the ABP. His extensive research contributions, published in peer-reviewed journals, focus on evidence-based dentistry, implant-related clinical studies, and augmented intelligence in Periodontics.
