Biography Text: Meet Stephanie "Stephy Steph" Ganter. She is a graduate from Texas A&M University School of Dentistry (formally known as Baylor College of Dentistry) and a graduate of the Periodontics Residency Program where she served as chief resident. Dr. Ganter successfully challenged the American Board of Periodontology and remains a Diplomate today. Dr. Ganter went on to complete a two year Integrative Medicine Fellowship out of University of Arizona School of Medicine where she learned to be a better provider, surgeon and communicator with her patients. Dr. Ganter started a YouTube channel the following year called Between Two Teeth alongsider her partner in practice, Bobby McNeill (OMFS). Through the channel, she is known as Stephy Steph and has used the platform to be an omni-channel content creator for the American Dental Association. Some of her more distinguished roles as a content creator were hosting ADA SmileCon in 2023 where she interviewed Actress Constance Wu and hosted events for the ADA like ADA Dentist and Student Lobby Day as well as Give Kids a Smile. Dr. Ganter is a fellow of the International College of Dentists and has recieved two grants to pursue international mission work abroad including most recently a medical mission to Kathmandu, Nepal in 2024 and a Ukraine dental mission to Warsaw, Poland in 2023. Dr. Ganter has been awarded the ADA 10 under 10 distinguished honor in 2023, as well as the Dallas County Dental Society New Dentist of the Year and Incisal Edge's 40 under 40 distinction. In 2023 Dr. Ganter completed a Harvard Surgical Leadership Program to hone her leadership skillset. She was voted class speaker and won the top award for her capstone project on improving access to care. In her spare time, Dr. Ganter loves to ride motorcycles, play ice hockey, and study for law school in the evenings. Dr. Ganter is poised to complete her J.D. in 2029 from Northeastern University School of Law through the Flex J.D. program. A program that allows her to practice full time in the day and complete asynchronous coursework in the evenings.
