Biography Text: MICHAEL R. RAGAN, DMD, JD, LLM DR. MICHAEL R. RAGAN is the Managing Partner of a Miami law firm with 35 years of experience as a professional negligence defense trial attorney and 47 years in dental medicine. He received a B.A. from Syracuse University, a D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and an L.L.M. in Health Law from Loyola University College of Law. Dr. Ragan has held academic appointments at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and the Georgetown University Dental School. Dr. Ragan is presently Adjunct Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and Clinical Professor, Department of Restorative Dental Sciences, Division of General Dentistry University Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Ragan is a Medico-Legal Consultant for the Fortress Insurance Company. Dr. Ragan is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the American College of Legal Medicine.
