Biography Text: Dr Shufflebarger DDS, Director of the Miami Valley Hospital Department of Medical Education's Moderate Sedation Training Series wears many hats. He maintains privileges at 3 hospitals, and provides surgery and sedation services at his private office in Beavercreek, Ohio. As an AHA instructor, he trains various medical providers in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. He holds an adjunct faculty position at Jacksonville University and has taught sedation to Grad Perio Residents at UCSF for the past 6 years. He is active speaking and educating at venues ranging from hospitals, state and local society meetings, dental schools, national conferences, medical schools, and university-based residency programs.
