Biography Text: Tu Nguyen, DDS, MMSc is a 2025 graduate of the Advanced Graduate Education (AGE) in Periodontology program at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM), Department of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity (OMII). She completed her residency in Periodontics and earned a Master of Medical Sciences at HSDM, an experience that fostered her growth both as a clinician and as a person. Dr. Nguyen had the privilege of treating patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with complex medical needs, which shaped her patient-centered approach—delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Her training encompassed advanced techniques such as soft and hard tissue management with autogenous materials or alternatives, tissue regeneration, full-mouth reconstruction, and IV conscious sedation.Committed to advancing oral health through patient care, research, and education, Dr. Nguyen combines evidence-based practice with a passion for mentoring future dental professionals and fostering collaboration between the periodontology communities in Vietnam.
